Cheap way to refill Braun Shaver Clean/Renew system

Here in France I just stumbled across Alcool Menager. As far as I can tell this is Denatured Ethanol, possibly with a bit of Isopropanol with some nice Citrus fragrance.

Anyone with a Braun Shaver that has a self cleaning system, will probably recognize the similarities of that description.

It is basically identical to the solution in the refills.

Those refills are expensive. About 16€ for 3 or about 5€/refill. While 1 liter of Alcool Menage is about 4€. It should get you about 4-5 refills so about 1€/refil.

Not a bad saving, considering I go thru with light use about 1/month.

The only tricky bit is rinsing all the crap out of the old used refill. But I found that a few goes under the tap did the job well enough.
