Just finished a chat with Apple support, where I asked the question if I would recieve a refund for my recently renewed MobileMe subscription.
The answer is a resounding ‘got no idea‘. So my guess is they are still figuring out how much of a backlash they will get from customers who feel gipped by this.
While its nice that they extended MobileMe, its gonna be kinda useless once the free iCloud hits, and when I switch I will still have approximately 9 months of paid MobileMe which will be useless.
Thats about AUS$90 worth ($119/year =$10/month) which is not a small amount of money.
I hope Apple does the right thing here and at the very least provides an iTunes store credit for the un-used months. Read More…
