Great software for the Quantification of Western Blots
I have been using FrogDance’s GelEval software for awhile now, and I have to say it is super easy to use and make the quantification of westerns and gels in general very easy.
It is trial software, you get 20 free goes at the program before you have to shell out the very reasonable $35 for it (I’m assuming that it is in $USD, despite it being a uk site)
I would normally give a quick run thru on how to actually use the software at this stage, but it really is quite simple and straight forward that I don’t think its really necessary…. unlike ImageJ which does require quite a lot of work to get its (free) gel quantification working.
